Welcome to 70,000 Mustard Seeds.

I have three goals: To write about anti-racism, collaborate with other folks working hard to understand and address inequality, and make enough money to pay off my $70,000+ in student loans.

Just to give a little background, I have taught courses about racism and other social problems in the sociology departments at Boston College and Ithaca College. Currently, I am finishing my dissertation, which focuses on the puzzle of why racial inequality persists at colleges that have professional antiracists (i.e. chief diversity officers, diversity and inclusion managers, multicultural affairs practitioners, etc.) . In addition, I am a member of the DSA Class Unity.

My grandfather used to always tell me that I could achieve anything if I had just a little faith, even if that faith was the size of a mustard seed.
